Validating Protein Expression in Exosomes
The analysis of exosome contents of protein is often carried out by high-throughput sequencing or protein quantitative mass spectrometry. Mass spectrometry (MS) is an important tool for finding differentially expressed proteins. In general, the following principles will be followed in the selection of differential proteins:
1.Select proteins closely associated with the research or articles.
2.Select proteins with significant differences in quantitative proteome and a small p-value.
3.Select proteins with a relatively high number of unique peptides among differential proteins.
4.Select proteins demonstrating good parallelism and consistent expression trends between groups.
5.Select proteins enriched by GO/KEGG analysis.
Based on the principles outlined above, select the target proteins requiring validation. Using Western blot, ELISA, PRM and other methods to verify the protein.
